SADDLES OF LOVE

Paris, France
February 2017

By Ross Belfer

It was love at second sight. While previous visits to Paris left me dismayed and encumbered, I knew this time would be different. Spectacles of the senses, a newfound love unified for that rose-tinctured glass the City of Lights is known for being seen through. I found that comfort in Paris' cold and charming elegance that is unavoidable. Because truth has it, you don't need to mingle with locals to find your way to the gems of Paris. You may get lost, you may not reach your destination, but in true Guy Debord-fashion, being an observer can also serve its purpose. The saddles of love, gripped me by surprise, and gripped my hand tight with light, in Paris.
