A place I had much longed to visit, Jamaica and its rich musical oeuvre have touched the stereos of likely every corner of the world. Safe to say that we have all — at some point in our lives — become victim to the mesmerizing spell of Bob Marley’s sounds and message of peace and unity.

Whilst the real impetus of my trip has yet to be revealed (stay tuned for that), a short stay at the legendary Geejam hotel and studio has as The Invaders would put: “touched my soul.”
